Indian Bank is hiring personnel for 215 Specialist Officer Posts. Online Applications are invited from candidates who have appeared for and qualified in CWE conducted by IBPS for Specialist Officer Posts on or before 05-09-2012.

1. Legal Officer – 25 vacancies
2. Computer Officer (IT Officer) – 10 vacancies
3. Rural Development Officer/Asst Manager (Agri) – 151 vacancies
4. Rajbhasha Adhikari/Hindi Officer/Asst Manager (OL) – 29 vacancies
Age Limit: Age of Candidates applying for the posts Legal Officer and Computer Officer must be below 32 years and age of those candidates who are applying for the remaining posts, must be below 30 years. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 01-12-2011. Age relaxations will be extended to candidates belonging to reserved categories, as per Govt rules.
Educational Qualification: For Legal Officer posts, candidates must possess BL or LLB, for Computer Officer posts, candidates must possess Degree in Computers or allied specialization, for RDO and Asst Manager post, candidates must possess Degree in Agriculture or allied specialization, and for Rajbhasha Adikari/Hindi Officer post, PG Degree in Hindi with English or in Sanskrit with Hindi and English as subjects. Any of these qualifications must be only from recognized University. For details of allied qualifications, go through the notification.
Essential Qualification: General Candidates must score minimum of 24 marks and other category candidates, 21 marks. The minimum TWSS would be 121 for Legal Officer post, 134 for Computer Officer post, 112 for RDO/Asst Manager post and 98 for Rajbhasha Adhikari/Hindi Officer/Asst Manager (OL) posts. TWSS should be 113, 125, 104 and 90 respectively for SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories.
Application Fee Details: General and OBC candidates need pay Rs. 100/- and SC/ST/PWD candidates need to pay Rs. 20/- towards application fee. Fee must be paid in form of challan downloaded from website and the amount must be paid at any branch of Indian Bank.
Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates on the basis of IBPS score will be have to appear for Group Discussion and/or Personal Interview for final selection.
How to Apply: Candidates must apply for the desired post only through online mode from Indian bank website on or before 05-09-2012 and after submission, take print out of application form and retain it to be produced at the time of GD/Interview, if called for.

2. Select the ‘Recruitment of Specialist officers 2012’ link and select the Challan download link.
3. Take print of Bank Challan of the desired post to be applied for.
4. Make payment and revisit the Bank’s website and this time select ‘Recruitment of Specialist Officers 2012 – Link for Online Application’ link.
5. Click on Apply Online link, fill all marked details carefully, check once for errors and click on ‘Submit’ button.
6. Take print of Application Form, retain the system generated Registration ID and Password.
